Let’s Visit the British Museum

Are you ready to visit the British Museum with me? 

The British Museum, dedicated to human history, art, and culture, is located in London. British archaeologists have brought back treasures from all over the world to England. This massive building contains a fascinating collection of artifacts, statues, books, manuscripts, coins, metals, and so much more. You can see all these treasures at the British Museum.

My favorite is the Rosetta Stone. Discovered by Napoleon’s soldiers building fortifications for battle in 1799 in Rosetta, Egypt, the valuable stone had an edict written 3 times in Greek, Demotic, and hieroglyphic. This precious stone unlocked translation of Ancient Egyptian writing.
