Katie Beth Nolette

Kate Nolette leads a full life as a wife, homemaker, and mother to three little ones. As Meredith’s oldest child, she was homeschooled until college. For the past few years, she has enjoyed raising her own children to know Jesus and walk with Him. She desires to make the Gospel, grace, and intimacy with Jesus the center of everything she does, everything she is, and everything she teaches. One of her greatest delights is teaching the Word to her children so they see Jesus in every page of Scripture and making the Gospel a part of almost every conversation with them. Her Bible study God’s Girls Brand New Life touches on some of these Gospel truths.

Kate loves ministering to and with her husband Zack, who gets even more fired up about Jesus and the Gospel than her! Together they enjoy leading a Life Group at Powerline Church. Before marriage and motherhood, Kate got her master’s degree in English at UCF and taught freshman composition there for four years. She also led a women’s Bible study on campus as well as working with the teens at her church for many years. She almost finished her first historical novel, The Alabaster Jar, about the women who anointed Jesus’ feet. Perhaps when her children are a little older she will finally complete it! For now, she enjoys reading aloud, baking cookies, studying nature, and making art with them, and sneaking quiet moments with Jesus on the side.

Worship dance is another outlet for Kate’s boundless creativity. She dances, teaches dance, and choreographs. Her creative evangelistic dances have influenced people to give their hearts to the Lord.

Katie Beth is an avid reader and expert on literature. She is teaching her sons to read in an innovative way–more on that to come!
